I have been using a modelling book for my reading, especially my TAI group. This has worked really well and allowed me to record the discussion and thoughts of the group members.
I have been using the CROWD thinking approach to my reading questioning as a strategy to help with extended discussions and in Maths I am using word problems where I use the students from within the group.
I have also used diagnostic snapshots to help me see where I need to begin for each set of learners.
